Sexual Abuse and the Catholic Church

Image
The degeneration of the church as witnessed in the ongoing sexual abuse discoveries within the Catholic church is in significant part, a consequence of the overarching sexual revolution in the west;  the growth of eurofeminism's assertion that women aren't free till they're free to be as debauched as the worse amongst men;  the Consumerist Revolution in the west finally leading to Sexual Consumerism and the LGBTQ movement; and the juvenilisation of the market with the young serving as the main force determining media and cultural development, and it serving to enhance the tendency toward immediate gratification and via shallow and debased means. These phenomena shows an all round acceptance, celebration, and promotion of sexual promiscuity and depravity in western society. In fact, the LGBTQ movement actually expects the Church to serve as a contraceptive to protect them from feelings of moral conflict. However, it has reached a point that they demand it, not due to moral...

Are You Intellectually-Deficient Enough to Want a Rolex?

Image
"How to Spot a Fake Rolex  The company uses the best steel on earth called “904L steel”, which is more rust and corrosion resistant. Rolex also makes, alloys and rolls its own precious metals to ensure the exact integrity of every watch.  Everything is crafted to absolute perfection, so take a closer look at the case, crown, hands, bezel, bracelet, and clasp – if anything comes across as sub-par quality, then you can be pretty sure it’s not the real deal." - bobswatches Now, why on earth do you need something to be made from the 'best steel on earth'? So it will outlast you by a thousand years? Why's that? I have a Seiko 5 from the 70s, and it's still going strong. And Rolex rolls their own precious metals to 'ensure the exact integrity' of the watch? What is that supposed to mean - 'integrity of the watch'? So that it will still function perfectly, or hold its shape even though its been rolled over by a steamroller whilst attached to your...

A Warning on Movie-Warnings

Image
Have you ever wondered about such 'Warnings' at the beginning of movies spewing out of the rectal regions of the west?  Maybe not.  Have you ever wondered about the subliminal influence of such 'Warnings'?  Probably not. The subliminal trick in this 'warning' lies in, 'scenes that SOME viewers might find upsetting'.  Implied in this 'warning' is that if you find it upsetting, you're in a minority, and you're deficient in some way.  By using the word 'some', they are implying that these elements ought not to upset you as MOST aren't upset by it. Implied in this 'warning' is that if you find it upsetting, you're in a minority, and you're deficient in some way. There was a time when it would have upset most, if not all, people.  But with such 'warnings', people have been gradually coaxed into accepting that it is deficiency on their part that leads them to find it upsetting. The problem with lots of movies...

Ipad & the commodification of shortcomings

Image
download epub version “Apple’s next-generation version of the iPad, presumably due in early 2011, should ship with improvements that make up for the first generation’s shortcomings.” says ZDnet. Words. When what might be regarded as abnormal is rendered normal, words that might incriminate, are replaced with words that excuse. That’s what came to mind when Apple’s ‘Ipad’s’ ‘shortcomings’ were spoken about in ZDnet’s article, ‘The next generation iPad and what Apple needs to deliver.’ In other words, they are ‘shortcomings’, not oversights induced by the desire to make the most out of a global population of markets and consumers as opposed to cogitating and self-aware human beings. Software improvements and features are one thing, but when it comes to what might be expected of a product given its intended use, and given the existence of technology to satisfy such expectations, to not include them it to simply create a future market via the ‘commodity’ of present ‘shortcomings’. Yes,...
