The media efforts to manipulate thought is all too obvious here. The red-highlighted emphasis is on this person's support for *Qanon though she was actually suspended from Twitter for alleging 'baseless' election-fraud - in other word, everyone is supposed to assume that elections are always carried out without fraud and believe that the powers of the day are sweet innocent beings who are as honest as Gump.     (*Q-anon - are a discredited body of people whom are alleged to be nothing but purposed to promote fantastical political perspectives, like the notion that Trump is opposed by an elite group of satan-worshipping pedophiles.  Personally, i think this group was set up by the elite themselves to discredit all conspiracy theorists, or at the very least, used as an example to demonise all conspiracy theorists, those who oppose the established powers, and sociologists themselves.)   The question shouldn't be,  'how long can my apple computer or phone last?',   But,  'How long does the component in it with the shortest lifespan that is supposed to be easy to change, but which apple seals in so that we can't, last? I keep seeing this silly word all over the place (oh dear, the american juvenile again...).  Well, I finally searched for its meaning, and discovered that it is supposed to mean, 'not impressive', or a nonchalant monosyllabic ejaculation of disinterest.  So an expressive ejaculation by an ill-educated american teen who's inclined toward reaction as opposed to cogitation becomes a word.  I see. Well, how is this happening.   Conspiracy theories aside, i’d say that one of the significant contributors to the degeneration of language, and hence, thought, is the young serving as a significant and vocal market force, and playing a major role in the evolution of the content of the net, with it largely being determined by the Americans whom are advanced enough in capitalism to reduce and produce people whom are nothing more than mere consumers and trend-followers. Not only do people tend to flock to the prominent for information and insight, but it is only there that they afford the content thought enough for comment. I suppose in affording thought for the pronouncements of the prominent, in their subconscious minds, puts them, vicariously, on an equal footing with the prominent since they are thinking along the same lines, be it in support or opposition. The entirety of this situation amounts to two processes of perspectival underdevelopment taking place simultaneously. Firstly, information and insight is sought generally from the prominent and all others are relatively discounted, and secondly, one cogitates only at the foot of the prominent. When this persists long enough, not only is humanity’s vision narrowed down the path set by the prominent few, but their own potentials to be the suppliers of significant and novel thought is itself garroted. I recall refusing to join in the ‘millennium’ celebrations 9 years ago for a few reasons. Firstly, I saw this as a subconscious global acknowledgment of the relative insignificance of alternative timelines that had contained and attributed meaning to quite a few non-Gregorian cultures. Thirdly, what was being celebrated was the relegation of the significance of alternative histories and perspectives to the dustbin of history by this celebratory shrugging off of the vestments of cultural pasts antithetical to the spirit of capitalism.
