it is a Death Lottery

Image
So long as one person can die because of it, or one person can get sick despite taking it, saying it is 'safe and effective' and the 'benefits outweigh the risks' is the biggest misinformation of all.   Aren't lotteries sold with the encouraging, 'it could be you!' even if there is only one or a few top prizes?  How is this any different, except that there are much more 'winners' with the death lottery. If it is true that any ONE of EVERYone can die because of it, it is more of a Death Lottery than a Vaccine. This is evidenced by the risk of the former being more certainly quantifiable than the benefits of the latter. Hence, to coerce this is enforced enrollment in a death lottery and premeditated grievous bodily harm and murder. edX

When governments and official bodies falsely claim credibility

Image
No source of information can be taken as credible unless it can continously fend off all contradiction as that is the only means by which a source of information can be deemed to be credible. In other words, there is no such thing as an unquestionable source of information.  Any party that claims credibility and demonises contradiction, hence, immediately ceases to be credible as they are attempting to remove the only means by which they can be proven to be credible. In the scientific field, the word that is used is HYPOTHESIS not 'falsehood' or misinformation. Without hypothesis, there is no science.   Terming a hypothesis or contradiction as 'falsehood', 'misinformation', etc, is illogical and downright nonsensical as that disables the very engine that drives science forward. Finally, there is no such thing as 'silly conspiracy theories'.  All ideas and perspectives give us an opportunity to test our beliefs.   I'm curious about differe...

'Community Guidelines' is Digital Colonialism

Image
The 'community guidelines' censorship policies of Corporate Social Media can be summarised by the slogan, 'Power to those who Already Have it!'. By suppressing talk, and through that, thought, that criticises another group, or casts them as inferior, or undesirable, or of questionable virtue, they are suppressing scrutiny of those whom already have power and prominence. Yes, this rule also protects those whom are minority in power and prominence, but they gain nothing from that as they are already marginalised, and their marginalised status can never be undone without critique of the centre. So what if they are protected from insults and such from those whom are more prominent? What matters is that they can't question the standing and standards of those in power, and it is that which keeps them at the periphery daily, 24/7. THAT is what is hidden between the lines in the community guidelines. It is only those in the centre whom have most to gain from such 'c...

Corporate Social Media's War Against non-White Culture Begins

Image
Simply put, one cannot judge another as morally inferior on Corporate Social Media.  So you cannot say that LGBT is morally inferior or you will be blocked.  BUT, the LGBT can imply the moral inferiority of all cultures of the world, all religions, and all institutions, that do not accept them as morally unquestionable.  The implication is simple.  You cannot judge western fetishes and indecency as 'morally inferior' because your standards are deemed to be morally inferior for that purpose.  So Facebook stating that you cannot judge another as morally inferior is basically another way of saying that all standards contrary to the new social movements of the west is morally inferior.  When they delete your post, block you, or ban you, they ARE saying that you are morally inferior.  So such rules are simply purposed to present the west, as it has been since the Colonial Holocaust where they murdered millions upon millions of our ancestors for power...

The Evil that is Corporate Social Media

Image
"Gab is an American alt-tech social networking service known for its far-right userbase.[8] Widely described as a haven for extremists including neo-Nazis, white supremacists, white nationalists, the alt-right, and QAnon conspiracy theorists,[12] it has attracted users and groups who have been banned from other social media and users seeking alternatives to mainstream social media platforms.[22]  Gab says it promotes free speech, individual liberty, and "the free flow of information online", though these statements have been criticized as being a shield for its alt-right and extremist ecosystem.[25] Antisemitism is prominent in the site's content, and the company itself has engaged in antisemitic commentary on Twitter.[27][32] Researchers note that Gab has been "repeatedly linked to radicalization leading to real-world violent events".[33]" - wiki Did i just say, 'right-wing media's attack on Gab.com'???  Oh deary.   Well, yes, but no, bu...

The main goals of top-down racism

Image
One of the main goals of racism is not just simply to marginalise a particular race, but to manage and narrow their aspirations. Once that is accomplished, racism isn't felt. The victim will simply cease to aspire to that which has earlier been determined to be the privilige of another.  Thereafter, a chinese-style 'harmony' is brought about where everyone 'gets along' knowing and accepting and not aspiring beyond their 'rightful place' in society.  That is one of the underlying values of Confucianism for instance. Another significant aim of racism is to turn the privileged race against the idea of difference in itself. By getting them to go against their own natural human instinct and ignore difference in culture and race has the effect of disabling their generic ability to appreciate difference itself, and reality from different angles. That in itself will render them more receptive to the one-sided mass-underdevelopmental vision of any fascist...

Lee Kuan Yew. Singapore's Founding Father?

Image
Lee didn’t make the most of singapore in respect and appreciation of its potent cultural differences.  He simply did the best that could be done when you get rid of it. He chose the easy route.  Nothing brilliant about that i'm afraid. I posted a review of Viking Blades', the 'Chieftain' safety razor, not too long ago on Amazon US, and received this reply from them, "Ed, Thank you for your heartfelt review. It's not that often that we receive such amazing acknowledgement. You sir have made our day and given us so much more motivation to continue staying in this tough business despite fierce competition from the big boys. Thank you once again and enjoy your Odin. Robert Vikings Blade PS: We love Singapore. One of the most inspiring countries in the world. The food, the people, the culture, the founding father are second to none!" * I was pleasantly surprised by Robert's sincere gratitude indeed, especially since i didn't expect a reply from Vikings ...

The Problem with the Dictionary and Language Today

Image
From text messages and email to chat rooms and video games , technology has over the past few decades brought an extraordinary new arena of verbal exchange into being - and one whose controversies relate not so much to foreign infiltrations as to informality, abbreviation and self-indulgence. Hence the swelling legions of acronyms ( LOL! ), grunts of internet-inspired indifference ( meh ) and social-media-inspired techniques for dramatising the business of typing ( #knowwhatImean ).  - bbc Language Purists were dismayed that the internet slang, “LOL” was included in the dictionary.  What is a ‘Language Purist’ anyway?  Well, they are simply people whom like the way language already is, and want it to remain that way.  If there was a dictionary around, say, 1000 years ago, what would its contents be like.  Well, it would have the vocab of the elite, and the peasants, and limited by the cultural and technological state of affairs of that time.  In the p...

In Praise of the 'Nazi Salute'

Image
A 20-year-old Greek footballer has been banned for life from playing for his national team after a controversial goal celebration in which he appeared to give a Nazi salute. The player says he hadn't understood the meaning of the gesture - but is it possible, in 2013, for a European to be so poorly informed? On Saturday, Giorgos Katidis gestured with his right arm extended and hand straightened, to celebrate scoring the winning goal for his team AEK Athens in a Super League game at the Olympic Stadium in Athens. After the match, the former captain of the Greek under-19 team turned to Twitter to explain his actions. "I am not a fascist and I would not have done it if I had known what it means," he wrote. His team's German coach also said his player was ignorant of what the salute signified. "He is a young kid who does not have any political ideas. He most likely saw such a salute on the internet or somewhere else and did it, without knowing what it means," he...

OMG! WTF!....is happening to the English Language?!

Image
Well, how is this happening.   Conspiracy theories aside, i’d say that one of the significant contributors to the degeneration of language, and hence, thought, is the young serving as a significant and vocal market force, and playing a major role in the evolution of the content of the net, with it largely being determined by the Americans whom are advanced enough in capitalism to reduce and produce people whom are nothing more than mere consumers and trend-followers. Is it any wonder that ‘awesome’ and ‘weird’ and ‘cool’ have become the verbal arbitrators of what is acceptable and what isn’t?  There is no argument, no rationale.  All we are assailed by is a barrage of OMGs and WTFs and LOLs.  Like I was saying to my companion, V (chinese girl from singapore) is that the more extensive the vocabulary, the greater the meaningful means by which we can comprehend reality.  I compared american-english to the chinese-english (for instance, called ‘singlish’, in s...

Xingapore and Sinonazism in s.e.Asia

Image
It's interesting to know that xingapore's cable and broadband companies are sort of partnering with China's telecom firms like 'hwa wei' as well. Wonder when these people are going to grow up, get egalitarian, and stop sticking to their own - and stop caring about falling chinese birth rates as if that is an issue in what is supposed to be a multicultural state. And, by the way, the U.S. has issued alerts against Hwa Wei and ZTE as security threats and possibly linked to China's government and military. related article on BBC - China's love-hate relationship with what is foreign Singapore, after all, is going to fast-track china's citizens into taking over the rest of the region But i suppose in the chinese supremacist state of xingapore, that is not a problem. (calling it a ‘chinese supremacist’ state is not an ‘opinion’ but a matter of definition, i.e. stating that singapore must always have a chinese majority; that our 'mother tongue will be mand...

on 'Being culturally sensitive'. Sorry, no thank you.

I always get a bit worried whenever people start imposing restrictions on expression for fear that it might be ‘offensive’. For instance, Seelan Palay's post, ' Lee Kuan Yew's remarks deeply offensive to Malays ', or, Not My SDP's, ' John Tan's remarks deeply offensive to Muslims ', are cases in point. Let me put it this way. Familiarity tends to breed contempt of critique. In other words, my being familiar with a particular scheme of thought and thoughtlessness, and being taught to appreciate it as ‘culture’, and then being told that I ought to take ‘cultural pride’ in it, renders whatever paradigm from which I make limited sense of reality immune to critique lest it offends the familiarity-induced sensibilities of others like myself. This, i view as nothing short of cultural arrogance. Do people actually think that the culture we inherit, and which is borne of times we all agree were, in various respects, less than laudable, can actually be sacros...

Prole Fascism : How the Proles undo themselves via Prominence-Worship

Image
Not only do people tend to flock to the prominent for information and insight, but it is only there that they afford the content thought enough for comment. I suppose in affording thought for the pronouncements of the prominent, in their subconscious minds, puts them, vicariously, on an equal footing with the prominent since they are thinking along the same lines, be it in support or opposition. The entirety of this situation amounts to two processes of perspectival underdevelopment taking place simultaneously. Firstly, information and insight is sought generally from the prominent and all others are relatively discounted, and secondly, one cogitates only at the foot of the prominent. When this persists long enough, not only is humanity’s vision narrowed down the path set by the prominent few, but their own potentials to be the suppliers of significant and novel thought is itself garroted. But what is unrealised by these people is that whilst the global elite take into consideratio...

Intelligence. When 0.1% amounts to 101%

Image
"As controversy builds around British National Party leader Nick Griffin's  imminent appearance on BBC1's Question Time , Channel 4 is set to stoke the race debate by giving airtime to two professors who believe black people are less intelligent than white people. The documentary, fronted by former BBC reporter  Rageh Omaar , will explore what the broadcaster describes as "science's last taboo". In the documentary,  Race  and Intelligence: Science's Last Taboo, Psychology professor Richard Lynn will say there is a global "league table", using evidence from IQ tests, to claim that intelligence is based on race, with north-east Asians in the top tier and Australian aborigines at the bottom." - guardian   In the run up to the impending appearance of the ultra-right honourable Nick Griffin on BBC’s ‘Question Time’, Channel 4 is getting in on the act with their John the Baptist by way of featuring two professors who belie...
