Why Did Jesus Come in the Form of a Jew?
Perhaps Jesus had to come in the form of a Jew to continue the theological, philosophical, and prophetic line of the Judaic faith through another religion. He didn't want the faith to be confined to the Jews in the eyes of others. And Jesus was quite annoyed with the Pharisees and the 'Rabbis' as well, as seen here,
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to."
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started!"
"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord."
- Matthew 23:13-37
If Facebook was around at that time, and Jesus put this up as a post, you can be sure that Mark Zuckerberg (who is a Jew) would personally come down from his ivory tower to press the 'ban' button on Jesus' account for breaching 'community guidelines', and call him an 'anti-semite'. And Twitter would delete His account for 'hate-speech'.
So perhaps God had to send his own son to get killed by the Jews, thereby causing a break from the Jewish faith(lessness), and then start off another new and improved faith. So, Jesus, perhaps, had to free the Judaic faith from the Jews and give it to the world by 'fulfilling' it with his self-sacrifice - which would require a population willing to kill him, and yet unable to stifle the Christian faith - and thereby allowing the formation of another faith.
Jesus Christ Superstar, "This Jesus Must Die"
That way, the teachings of all the prophets in the Old Testament wouldn't be deemed irrelevant by its being perceived as the teachings of only the Jewish faith. It would be considered by those who followed the Christ as well since he was supposed to be of the Prophetic lineage and final Prophet of the Bible.
So Jesus placed himself as the last of the Jewish line of Prophets, allowed himself to be killed by the Jews to show that their religion wasn't relevant any longer to the future continuation of the Religion of God, and thereby freeing his teachings and those of his predecessors from the confines of the Judaic faith. Something like a global corporate takeover of a firm adamant about serving only local needs - though capitalism is one of the systemic nemesis of Christianity.
Additionally, and importantly, this would end the idea of the Jews as the 'chosen people', and that 'being chosen' would from thereon refer to anyone who accepted 'the Way, the Truth, and the Life', that his teachings and sacrificed symbolised.
And, possibly, another underlying message here is that the Church should always be checked to ensure that they aren't being like the Pharisees of old, and that Churches, like that of the Jews during Jesus' time, could also shut the doors of heaven to the people. Respect the institution of God, is the message, but wondering about its clerical occupants, and their perspectives, appears to be the message of the Christ.
Amen.
