The Issue of China vs Taiwan, resolved

The issue is a very simple one.  Taiwan doesn't belong to the China Chinaman or the Chinaman residing in Taiwan.  The existing chinese living in Taiwan are migrants-colonialists who came there circa 17th century.  It is not their country of origin or long tenancy, or ancient tenancy.

So China's claim to Taiwan can basically be shoved up their rear ends ass and when they can convince themselves to finally arise from their dinner tables.  This squabble is basically between 2 chinamen over someone ELSE'S possession.  (even in singapore, the racist, fascist, eugenicist, late PM, Lee Kuan Yew, claimed it for the chinese by saying singapore would be better off without its natives and the indians. When the country became prosperous, he falsely linked it to it being due to the state having a chinese majority, and thus perpetuated and legitimised chinese racism.  The chinese in asia obviously have a problem respecting other people's possessions and significance.)

Taiwan belongs to the Natives.  The 'austronesians', not dissimilar to the Malays and Filipinos, whom were the first settlers, lived there in freedom for about 5000 years and were pretty much, thankfully, isolated from the Han Chinese.

If Taiwan wants to claim independence from China, the Chinese colonialists/migrants residing there just have to revert the state to the natives, and declared it as the state of the natives from antiquity, and thus destabilise any China claims to it.  As it stands now, China's claim to it is based purely on its diaspora being there.  With this sort of logic, Chinatowns from London to New York to Cape Town or Mumbai can also be declared the sovereign property of the People's Republic of Chinaman can't it.

After the Chinese in 'Taiwan' declare 'Taiwan' as the land of the Austronesian Natives, the Chinese residing in 'Taiwan' can then officially have treaties with the First Nations of 'Taiwan' that will enable the 'Taiwanese' Chinese to continue to live there as guest-citizens, with their children as citizens naturalised by birth in 'Taiwan'.  The name 'Taiwan' also has to be changed to that preferred by the First Nations of the land.

'Taiwanese' is Ethnicity, NOT Nationality

The Taiwanese don't have an ethical right to claim Taiwan as independent, or a part of the so-called 'Republic of China' or whatnot.  They can claim independence as a PEOPLE, but NOT as a state.  The land known as 'Taiwan' was always independent as far as the natives were and are concerned, and the 'Taiwanese' have as much right to claim the country's independence, as they have the right to claim the independence and ownership of my shorts and 1959 Gillette Fatboy Razor - not that they will have much use for the latter with as great a frequency as myself given their being relatively follicly-challenged.

In fact, 'Taiwanese' as a term should only refer to the ethnicity or 'dialect group' of the Chinese residing in 'Taiwan' if they like, given they have formed their own culture whilst apart from the land of the China Chinese and living on NATIVE land.

The 'Taiwanese' are Chinese, whether they like to be called it or not.  Same fingerprint with a different nail polish, that's all.

They certainly didn't come from Chennai or Chingford, and they certainly didn't come from 'Taiwan'.  They are Chinamen, Han Chinese, chopsticks, noodles, economic opportunism, Chinese New Year, Zodiac animals, Feng Shui and all, but with their own ethnic traits developed whilst apart from their country and culture of origin.

If they still insist that Taiwan is theirs because they are the majority, or more powerful than the natives, then likewise, the Chinese in China can use the selfsame logic and claim the land they now reside in whilst disregarding both the Chinese diaspora in 'Taiwan' and the natives - which is what China is accustomed to doing if you consider that the 'China' that Shih Huang Ti 'united' was only a fraction of the size of China today.  Much of the land that is now 'a part of China' was actually part of the Mongol (Yuan dynasty) empire, which the Chinese, in typical fashion, claimed it as their own even though it was acquired by the Mongols, whom the Chinese kicked out for not being Chinese.  That's like evicting a person from your house but wearing his underwear as a crown isn't it.

If you justify your possession, by force and not reason, then you lay yourself open to possession by another's force.

IN Sum

China's agreement to this is not necessary.  The Chinese in asia don't go by justice, reason, and empathy.  They go by 'we are the majority, the more powerful, so we can do what we want to do.'  This can be seen by their treatment of minorities, be it in china or singapore, the issue of the Spratly Islands, Tibet, etc.

(The reason for their anti-social perspective on things is not that 'they are bad people' or 'because they are Chinese', but because they have been forced to abide by the rule of people like that for more than 2000 years since the ascent of the Qin in 220 b.c., and have hence internalised such a perspective themselves.  If i'm forced to live by unjust laws, i will not be just in my application of justice myself.)

(in singapore, the Malays and Indians are an 'enforced minority' by government policy to keep the country a Chinese majority state, even though it was originally a Malay state.  Till today, the ruling party forbids any Indian and Malay from becoming a majority, living in large numbers in any part of the country, or becoming a Prime Minister.  It is in effect, an apartheid state where people are free to move around, but can only live in small numbers in Chinese majority constituencies.  One can't logically say that it is for ethnic integration if it is paired with a policy of ethnic domination.  That makes it ethnic subjugation and assimilation.)

So, in this case, the UN should just ignore them, recognise 'Taiwan' as the state of its First Nation Austronesian natives, and Chinese inhabitants who came later - pending the agreement of the Natives - and offer it the protection that any state of natives needs in the face of any belligerent, self-serving, fascist, petulant, and basically ill-mannered power.

Simple.  But the reason why people don't come to this solution is because all squabbling parties are self-serving, and go by the rule of force, as opposed to determining rules by the standard of ethics and justice.

The Taiwan issue is now closed pending the application of the irrefutable points raised here.  If the UN does not apply it, they simply cannot be trusted to stand by what is ethically verified to be beyond reproach.
