beware the good guys



Implying that Self-defence in the face of premeditated grievous bodily harm and murder is simply 'violence' is like saying that struggling and fighting in the face of a rapist is violence.  


People who take that approach are aiding and abetting a crime, intentionally or otherwise... and are serving as the PR department for the perpetrators.  

The Evils will have such plants everywhere, so they can do as they do and get away with it in the face of resistance rendered ineffective by such allegedly 'good guys'.


Logically, Resistance to evil must be proportionately more than the force applied to effect the evil for it to be effectively resisted.  If it can be, but it isn't, it signals desensitisation to said evil and even assimilation to it.  That is when the evil is perceived as less than it quantifiably is.  That is when, for instance, what is incontrovertibly premeditated grievous bodily harm and murder is construed as an infringement on 'bodily autonomy'.  

When society descends to that low degree of empathy, that is when such perspectives prevail, and that itself indicates why such evil transpires.  

What people are amenable to determines that which happens in a society that is based on evil foundations in the first place.  That is when wolves in sheep clothing become the victims.  That is when human society is effectively dead.

Singaporeans upset about Indonesian naming ships after their ‘heroes’? Why?

Indonesian military officers have pulled out of a Singapore aerospace show amid a row over the controversial naming of a naval warship. Indonesia angered its neighbour by naming the new ship after two marines who carried out a bombing which killed three people in Singapore in 1965. Singapore’s Racist ‘Meritocracy’

Meritocracy. To the common mind, it simply means going by how one scores in exams. That’s it. But that’s not it. Meritocracy goes deeper than simple educational achievement. It has much to do with an overarching ‘system of preference’ that is promoted via a host of means. Of course one can say that we ‘prefer’ those with higher scores. But this sort of ‘preference’ is embedded within an overarching ‘system of preference’ that impacts on how we perceive ourselves, each other, and what we are taught to view as the right way of thinking and doing things. It is this that truly reveals what any particular ‘meritocratic’ system entails.
