Not All Love is Made Equal, or Should be, for a Good Reason

Image
Not All Love is Made Equal ...and thank God for that. The variation in the kind of love we can give aids in developing various aspects of our persona.  So, the love we can have for a flower, a same-gender friend vs the romantic love for an opposite gender, the love for parents, a niece, a nephew, a brother, a sister, nature, ALL directs us to, and develops various aspects of OUR natures. When i see the love between TC, Rick, and Magnum, it tells me of the love of friendship 'without benefits'.  I see it in old Tamil movies, where one guy refers to another guy as his, 'nanban' (friend, but with more meaning than when used in the west or with reference to Faceook's 'friends'.  It means someone you trust, you can lay your life down for, is like family, someone close to your heart....which is why friendship plays a central role in old tamil movies to degrees never seen in western movies.)  When you take sex, or the possibility of sex or romantic relationship, ou...

What's this, 'Speaking in Tongues'?

Image
SPEAKING in Tongues? _______ I was hanging out with an ole 1980s (English-speaking Indian) friend of mine - who's still holding on, quite successfully i must add, to that elusive thing called 'style'.....which is quite a feat these fashionable but style-less days - and he was mentioning a chinese catholic woman friend of his who is quite into this 'speaking in tongues' thing that, from what i learnt from him, is becoming quite the rage amongst quite a few catholics these days here.   My first response was, "man, these people, (and their chinese archbishop even) support and revere racist and fascist leaders and governments, can't be bothered about other races and cultures, or learning their languages, and they want to move on to speaking heavenly languages?  Ask them learn terrestrial ones first."  My friend, being Indian, understood the joke and laughed.  Indians from the 80s, being more Indian and multicultural, were quite a witty lot.....till many ...

Is Anti-Semitism becoming a Virtue?

Image
With regards to Jewish occupation of Palestine... ...I don't know what all this incessant petulant debating is about.   If the Jews occupying Palestine can't live with difference, want the land for themselves, and want to evict all those whom aren't Jews, they should be answered with force and kicked out.  The same was done with the Nazis, the same should be done with the Jews occupying Palestine.  What?  Are they the chosen people or something?  Beyond the law?  Beyond reproach?  Hence it isn't double standards because they are not subject to the rules of ethics and fairplay that the rest of us mere mortals are subject?   I don't know why one rule should be applied to the Nazis, and another for the Jews.  I didn't know that once being a victim (of the Nazis) is a green card that allows the Jews to do likewise to the Palestinians.  Yes, they do not use gas chambers like the Nazis, but the end-result they seek is identica...

You Didn't Actually Fall for this Dri-Fit Clothing Scam Did You?

Image
I'll keep it brief. We all have heard of those dri-fit tops and bottoms and whatnot right?  Really overpriced flimsy clothing that is supposed to 'wick' sweat away from your body.   H ow is that a benefit?  That's consumerism innit.  Off brain, open mouth, ahhhhh.  Like Nike says, 'just do it!', or like the chinaman in asia say, 'Don't think/question/complain, just do!'.  That's like driving with your eyes closed.  Like i've said before, this new western consumerist thing and the chinese tradition of abiding by the popular and the traditional without thought are two paths leading to the same lobotomised destination where you lose the senses required to want more.  You will end up making a culture out of compensating for bad consequences instead of getting rid of the cause - which is what animals do, logically speaking.  I prefer the Indian way - 'I want to think if it is worth doing in the first place, thank you very much.' with heads...

Is the Glass Half Empty or Half Full? And the Right Answer is...

Image
The strategy of Corporations and governments in the long run is to get people to stop seeing the cup as half empty,  1. by downsizing the size of the cup to half so it can be perceived as completely full 2. by downsizing the thirst of the people so they view the glass as full enough 3. by getting the people to compensate for the glass being half empty by looking elsewhere for nourishment And this works by downsizing people's intelligence, aspirations, self-identity, ideas on what is ideal, etc, etc, in proportion to the downsizing of the glass, through the reduction of expectations via the provision of means to get around a half empty glass.  The hunger for profit by the few can never be reconciled with the maximal development of all the people.  Yup.  The best means supplied by capitalist and fascist governments globally to get around a problem is by getting you to not see it as one.   And how that is done is by 1.  providing you ways to get around it...

White/Jewish Hollywood, Take responsibility for your 'Entertainment'!

Image
The Devil All the Time, anti-christian, anti-human, blasphemous filth transmitted across the globe.  That's what it is. I'm no saint, but i like to compartmentalise my sins away from my daily fare of life experiences so that i do not confuse evil for life itself, and give adequate room for the expression and development of other aspects of my persona.   BUT, this movie, like many others, is way beyond the pale.  It promotes hate of christians, the church, religion, and humanity itself.  Gone are the days when beautiful shows like The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, Highway to Heaven, took centrestage.  Now, Hollywood is nothing more than the Coliseum and Caligula rolled into one big joint.   THE MOVIE Basically, we have a father, who is presented as a devout christian, shooting his dog as a sacrifice so that God would cure his terminally-ill wife.  And then he goes on to crucify his dog on the cross before which he and his ...

on Chinese Racism, the Idea of Success, and the poodle, Xiaxue

Image
"In the posts in February 2018 and May 2020, Ms Khan had allegedly claimed that the authorities discriminated against citizens on the basis of race and religion. She publicly apologised for the remarks in the posts after the police reports were made. The WP stood by its candidate. Re-posting Ms Khan’s posts on her Instagram story, Xiaxue branded her a “racist” and a “toxic woman”. She added that Ms Khan was trying to stir up civil strife by bringing  American-style politics to Singapore." - msnNews So that's the story. Well, it appears, as evidence suggests, that for quite a few Chinese, it isn't racism when the government does it.   So when Lee Kuan Yew said Singapore would be better off without Malays and Indians; when PMs say that Singapore can only have non-chinese PMs when those Chinese whom are racist are alright with it; when they say that Singapore must always have a Chinese majority; along with a while load of other supremacist policies in the past, it isn...

Apple and the New World Order

Image
The question shouldn't be,  'how long can my apple computer or phone last?',   But,  'How long does the component in it with the shortest lifespan that is supposed to be easy to change, but which apple seals in so that we can't, last? ONE The lifespan of the component with the shortest lifespan and which the entire computer relies on to function, will determine how long your entire computer lasts.  When you look at it that way - which is the only logical way to look at it - you will know how long your Apple product will last, or putting it another way, how long Apple WANTS your device to last despite the other components in it outlasting it.   And finally, the component that lasts the least is actually the price of the ENTIRE device because you will be forced to throw out the entire device when that part fails.  Or, you have the option of going to see some 'genius' in the Apple store and pay loads to get it repaired or upgraded, or in other...

Facebook's Ministry of Truth actually works to strengthen the Right-Wing

Image
Is this the real intention of the people who run Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and whatnot?  Or are they just as stupid as Wile E Coyote? It is best to keep your enemies close, not only so that you can keep an eye on what they are doing, but also perhaps to coax them into being your friend instead.  If everyone drove their individual demon out of their houses, it just serves to allow these demons to regroup and attack each house with an entire army.  Same thing goes here.  When Facebook drives out all those who do not unquestioningly subscribe to their definition of 'hate speech', or 'community guidelines' (designed to ensure the ascendency of particular communities over others) or their agenda to normalise whatever they deem should be the norm, it just drives all these castaways out for regrouping in some other locale.  What happens then?   These castaways, like the young being assimilated by the 'information age' on Corporate Social Media, will jus...
